The Professional Learning Association New Zealand Te Māngai Whakangungu Kaiako o Aotearoa (Inc) promotes excellence in professional learning and development (PLD) in schools and kura, represents PLD provider interests and contributes to effective facilitator practice through high expectations learning, education and training. Its membership is drawn from experienced PLD organisations and registered sole trader PLD providers.

PLANZ has registered as an incorporated society that represents professional learning and development providers throughout New Zealand Aotearoa. Members work with both Māori medium and English medium kura and schools.
